Kakuju Park is located in central Tsuruta about 10 minute walk from Mutsu-Tsuruda train station. The park offers playground, pond fountain, floral clock, multipurpose and festival ground, tennis court, memorial trees and monuments. Memorial trees are planted during the annual marriage celebration event by Tsuruta’s newly married couples.
The floral clock in the center of the park indicates current time in our sister city, Hood River, Oregon.
